Music
Music has always been a vital ministry at Omaha Central. We believe that it is an important part of the worship experience. Various worship teams composed of three or four people help lead our Sunday morning and evening worship. Our music encompasses a variety of styes, from the old hymns of the church to contemporary worship pieces. Whatever the style, our goal is to give the Lord praise and worship, so each piece is chosen carefully to bring our congregation into a meaningful worship time.

Pastor John Mowery, our worship director, encourages involvement, vocally, instrumentally, and technically. We are beginning to activate a church choir again for the Christmas season, and will shortly begin rehearsing our Christmas cantata. We welcome your involvement! Please see Pastor John if you have any questions.

Sound and Video Technicians are the unsung heroes of the Music Ministry. These people work closely with our pastoral team to ensure a smooth worship service. We are always looking for people who are willing to serve in this area - AND WE ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO TRAIN!

Special music is often used during our worship service. Prelude music, offertories, or special music, whether it is vocal or instrumental, greatly enhances the worship experience. We are always looking for people with musical ability. Again, see Pastor John for more information.
